Tom's December Publicity

07/11/2014
December is a magical month:
Fordingbridge, aglow with its Christmas lights, putting other larger towns to shame; the bustle of Christmas shopping in Fordingbridge, with carol singers, and children and families and turning out to see Santa Clause.
They say that families are like fudge, mostly sweet but with a few nuts. That is also a description of Fordingbridge Camera Club. We are a friendly, go-ahead club meeting at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm on alternate Wednesdays.
Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk has the programme for this season. It is a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers coupled with opportunities to show your work and have it commented on by experienced photographic judges. Visitors are welcome to our meetings for a small charge.
The more experienced members are always willing to give help and advice when asked. Why not come and meet us and see if this is the club for you? In addition to our regular meetings, we are devoting many evenings to Creative Photography for those who want to explore more advanced aspects of photography.
Our Practical Photography group is aimed at helping members who are new-comers to photography. Both of these additional evenings are only open to members.
As I am retired - (I was tired yesterday, and I am tired again today.) - it gives me plenty of time to compose my annual wish list for Santa. So far it reads, “Dear Santa, My wish for this year is a big fat Bank Account and a slim body. Don’t mix these up as you did last year.”

I wish you, on behalf of all the members of Fordingbridge Camera Club, a Peaceful and Happy Christmas.
