The Fordingbridge
Challenge 2010
once again
we issued an invitation to other Clubs to contest the Fordingbridge
Challenge at the
Town Hall in May. Our judge this time was Bill Aven ARPS DPAGB
APAGB from Warminster,
nine other Clubs took up the Challenge with eight projected
digital images apiece
Devizes Camera Club jointly shared the highest score
and their member Gill Tardy had
the winning image
so they rightly took home the trophy to defend next year..

A Challenge was issued

for a Projected Image Competition to be held at the Fordingbridge
Town Hall in January 2009. Seven other clubs accepted
the Challenge which was judged by Dr Barry Senior FRPS,

It is hoped that

though slightly embarrassed, that Fordingbridge took first
place in this the inaugural year. Second place was jointly
held by Bournemouth Photographic Society and Wareham Camera
Club. The Certificate for the Best Individual Image was

Lottery
Win! December 2005
We
are delighted to announce that we have been successful in our
"Awards for All" application and
will be able to equip with a new digital projector and move
forward into a new era of photography.
Outstanding
Digital Day! November
2005
Once again our "Digital
Day" presentation at Sandy Balls Holiday Centre has been
well received largely thanks to this year's guest speaker Tony
Riley LIBPP who explained the secrets of Colour Management and
how to get the best from Raw Files. Nearly 100 guests from all
over the south and west enjoyed the day and they went home super-saturated
with knowledge.
Can
You see in Colour?
Yes, really see? A lot
of us, particularly men, have some degree of colour blindness
(Who said "especially judges"?). If you want to get
checked out discretely -
go to http://www.toledo-bend.com/colorblind/Ishihara.html
- you might be surprised!
