Tom's May Publicity

06/04/2014
The most beautiful words in the world have been described as – “Cheque Enclosed”.

Equally beautiful words are – “It is not to late to go to the free Fordingbridge Camera Club exhibition which is taking place on Friday and Saturday 16/17 May”. This is a feast of wonderful photography by club members as well as the opportunity to see good photographic work by local school children.
A record of Fordingbridge fireman in training will also be on show. Fordingbridge Camera Club is a friendly, go-ahead club. We meet at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm on alternate Wednesdays.

Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk has our programme for the season. It is a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers coupled with opportunities to show your work and have it commented on by experienced photographic judges. Visitors are always welcome for a small fee. In addition to our regular meetings, we are devoting many evenings to Creative Photography for those who want to explore more advanced aspects of photography. The Practical Photography group is aimed at helping members who are new-comers to photography.

A recent development is to form ‘buddy groups’ where users of the same make of camera can discuss any queries they have about the working of their cameras and seek group advice.
All these additional sessions have proven to be very popular but are only open to club members. Our Club year finishes in mid-June but we will be at many of the local country shows throughout the summer, including the Fordingbridge Festival on Saturday 19 July. Call in and see us, we are not as bad as you may think. And always remember, men do cry - but only when assembling flat-pack furniture!
