If like me you enter projected/digital exhibitions or competitions there are now a multiplicity of formats 4:3, 16:9 & 16:10 etc being used. Where I can I try to fill the projected area without cropping my image. The club uses 16:10 which is 1920 * 1200
With care you can get away with a change of format within your resize for the club competition. So when resizing you unlock the link between height and width.
If you have something which should be a circle in the image you will draw attention to the format change unless you do a lot of work. Smile
The first image is the original (which is 4:3) would have been 1600 by 1200 so I stretched the width to 1920 by 1200 for the 16:10 projector. I did this from the original image 4463*3347 so there was no perceivable impact on quality.
