Tom's March Publicity

I seem to have lost all my internet passwords.
Never mind, I changed my password everywhere to ‘incorrect’, That way when I forget it, it always reminds me, ‘Your password is incorrect.’

Politicians seem to be getting a bad press these days; I had to smile at a banner being displayed at a demonstration in Westminster – “Argos has better cabinets!”
However, one group still remaining popular is the Fordingbridge Camera Club. We meet at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm most Wednesdays. Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk contains some details of our programme.
It is a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers coupled with opportunities to show your work on top quality equipment and have it commented on by experienced photographic judges.
Visitors are always welcome for a small fee. In addition to our regular meetings, we devote many evenings to those who want, as a group, to set themselves new challenges and then to review the results collectively. Some planned evenings in March include: Review of Motion & Focus effects, A Review of Mono Images and a talk on night photography, and a talk entitled "Travels with a Camera". April includes Photoshop Elements.
These additional sessions have proven to be very popular but are only open to club members. They are usually creative evenings so cameras are recommended to be brought for those evenings.
There are varied levels of skill in the Club, ranging from very experienced down to strugglers like me.
If you need any guidance on any aspect of photography you will find friendly advise given freely.

If you would rather stay at home and read a book, remember the quote of Groucho Marx – “Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read”.
