The new season is upon us and Tom's missive is a constant...........

Tom's September Publicity

08/08/2018
What has the coming year to offer, apart from Trade Wars, a possible decision on Brexit and further alarming tweets from the USA? But there’s no need to get stressed about the coming Club year.
The good news is that the new season of the Fordingbridge Camera Club starts again on 5th September 2018.
Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk lists the planned talks by visiting top photographers: Janet Haines ARPS, originally from Dorchester Camera Club, will be showing some of her work, on 26th September.
This has achieved international success and on 24th October Ralph Snook ARPS will talk about Wild Life Photography and show some of his impressive range of first class images.
Some of our own club members will cover areas of their own expertise in the coming season and include: Kevin James covering “Using Your Mobile Phone in Photography”. “Practical Wedding Photography” will be covered by Julie and Ashley Francis in March.
Visitors are always welcome to meetings for a small charge. In addition to our regular meetings, we devote many evenings to those who want, as a group, to set themselves new challenges and then to review the results collectively.
These additional sessions have proven to be very popular and have added strength to our work.
Members have the opportunity to show their work on top quality equipment and have it commented on by experienced photographic judges. It is no use being stressed about what the coming year will bring -
I read an article which said that the symptoms of stress are: eating too much, impulse buying and driving too fast. That sounds like my idea of a perfect day!
However, to ease my stress, I know that my wife is the most wonderful woman in the world and that’s not just my opinion – it’s hers!
