Start the New Year off with a chuckle at Tom's Publicity for the club.

Tom's January Publicity

21/12/2019
New Year resolutions will now be at the forefront of all our minds. I think I made too many New Year’s Resolutions last year; it took me almost a full day to break them all. I have, however, resolved again to do last year’s resolutions because I am not a quitter!
One thing worth reminding everyone is - that if you decide to join the Fordingbridge Camera Club after 1st February our subscriptions for this club year are halved. What may you get for this bargain, I hear you ask? We are a friendly, go-ahead club and meet at Avonway Community Centre at 7.30pm on Wednesdays. Our website, www.fordingbridgecameraclub.org.uk has our programme for the rest of the season. It is a mixture of talks by visiting top photographers; Glyn Paton LRPS will be presenting ‘From Notting Hill to Nepal’ on 26th February. 18th March is devoted to an illustrated talk entitled ‘Wildlife Photography’ by David Boag. David’s website, naturalfocus.co.uk shows his wide range of photography. We also provide opportunities to show your work on the highest quality equipment. This is helpfully commented on by experienced photographic judges. In addition to our regular meetings we are devoting many evenings for those who want, as a group, to set themselves new challenges and then to review the results collectively. Well worth seeing is a competition of member using mobile phone Photography on 19th February; an area of growing interest for many photographers and mobile phone users. Visitors are welcome to any item on the programme for a small fee.
My New Year’s Resolution is to get in shape - I chose round. May all your troubles only last as long as your New Year’s Resolutions.
